The Trash Butler Operations Leader emails and/or calls the community Maintenance Director or Property Manager to notify them of the service suspension.
When uncontrollable events like weather-related issues, natural disasters, or other serious situations occur, Trash Butler management will proactively communicate with you to ensure you’re aware of any situations that may impact service for your community.
Yes, your community will be assigned a login for your community.
Our Butlers team will leave an infraction to educate the resident, and the timestamped photo documentation will be uploaded to the customer portal.
We provide the community electronic fliers outlining the doorstep service guidelines and our customer service contact information.
Our Butlers are equipped with leakproof totes and carts to collect and dispose of the trash.
We place pads around the edges of our carts to prevent walls from being damaged.
The community decides whether the Butlers can use the chutes. If they don’t, the Butlers, who play a crucial role in maintaining the property’s cleanliness, will transport the trash collected from the doorstep using a cart and dispose of it in the on-site dumpster/compactor.
The residents must purchase their own clear recycling bags.
Our Sustainable Plus Program is a comprehensive waste management solution, offering recycling bins and a composting service. This program, with its significant environmental impact, should make you feel responsible and motivated to choose this option. In contrast, the Standard Program is a basic waste pick-up service, handling small to medium-sized boxes (e.g., from Amazon) placed beside the can or a clear bag for recyclable plastics and/or glass containers.

Pet stations and common areas are serviced every day of doorstep trash pickup service. We can only provide service to pet stations and common areas in conjunction with the nights of service of doorstep service.
The property charges the residents. Charges are based on the property’s discretion and what their leasing agreements state.
We do not collect hazardous material, furniture, bulk items, anything with broken glass, or anything biohazardous.
We will be able to recycle recyclable items as long as they do not contain food or perishable items. If items contain food or perishable items (e.g., pizza boxes), we will dispose of them in the trash instead of recycling them.

Yes, collection may be delayed due to these and other holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Holidays push our pickup schedules back one day with regular schedules resuming the following week.
